Level D Simulator

The highest FAA simulator qualification level, allowing zero-flight-time aircraft qualification — an airline pilot can earn a type rating without ever flying the real aircraft. Level D sims have 6DOF motion, wide-angle visuals, high-fidelity sound, and exact cockpit replicas. Only found at commercial training centers.
